Wicca is a joyous religion which celebrates Nature. This altar celebrates the four elements. Air is honored by a feather in the east. Fire is honored by a votive candle in a glass holder in the south. Water is honored by shells and a cup in the west. Earth is honored by a small, white stone in the north (obscured by a leaf in the photo). Also on the altar is the Simple Feast of grape juice and a cake. The Goddess and God are not visible on this altar, because the Lady and Lord are among us everywhere, manifest in the natural world.
