On Friday, September 30, 2016, Sage Nightstar, beloved wife of Rock Savage, passed away. She is survived by other family and many friends.
In her private life, she had become a third degree priestess in Virginia.
Sage was a four times cancer survivor (non-Hodgkins lymphoma). When she was afflicted with cancer a fifth time, she enrolled in an experimental "study" program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Hopkins program used the body's own defense system as a tool to fight cancer. Sage was eventually declared "cancer free" by her physician at Hopkins. As the treatment was experimental, its potential side-effects were not fully known.
In her mundane life, Sage had worked as a planner and promotor of fund-raising events for charities. Some of the celebrities she worked with included: Kevin Spacey,Jamie Luner, Paul Satterfield, Ray Wise, Rebecca Romane, John Stamos, the late Aaron Spelling, Clint Eastwood, Illusionist Criss Angel, Amber Lake (VH1's Rock of Love with Bret Michaels), Dave Coulier (Full House), the Osmonds, Judd Law, Olivia Newton John, Robin Lively, Shannon Sturges, Tom Barringer, Dorothy Morrison.
