Myth's Notes
Alas, this is not a traditional American-Italian reciepe.
Over Thanksgiving weekend 2008, I was manning an informational booth for Cheaspeake Pagan Community, which was also selling CPC t-shirts. A friend suggested that we also sell some homemade cookies or other baked goods, as a lure to the table. I decided to make some brownies that had something unique about them. (Often I make brownies with extra special seasoning or M&Ms.)
Since this booth was going to be at the Darkover Grand Council, which has an esoteric programing track, I tried to come up with a catchy name for my baked goods lure. That's when I came up with the idea of putting Strega liqueur into the mix and calling them Strega Brownies.
