Benediction For Many Purposes

I will arise; at every step, Moon walk with me. Moon lock my heart into yours; I am your own; therefore, let my body and my soul be commended unto you. Beneath your guardianship I am safe against all tempests and all enemies.

This benediction is an affirmation or self-blessing intended to be used by a person over her/himself.

It is my own adaption of a charm from PA Dutch Pow-wow folk practice. I like that it invokes the Moon, who often protected travelers.
